Refund Policy

Travel Hub Australia, operating as Racerbaul, understands that travel plans can change unexpectedly. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which cancellations and refunds are handled for our tours, travel packages, and campervan rentals. Please read this policy carefully before making a booking.

Tour Cancellations

All tour cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@racerbaul.com. The effective cancellation date is the date we receive your written notice. Refunds for tour cancellations are calculated based on the number of days remaining before the scheduled departure date:

  • 30 or more days before departure: Full refund of the amount paid.
  • 15 to 29 days before departure: 50% refund of the amount paid.
  • Less than 15 days before departure: No refund will be issued.

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14 business days of the cancellation being approved.

Campervan Rental Cancellations

Campervan rental cancellations are subject to the following terms. If you cancel your reservation 21 or more days before the scheduled pick-up date, you will receive a full refund minus a $75 AUD administration fee. Cancellations made between 7 and 20 days before the pick-up date will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the pick-up date or no-shows are not eligible for a refund. Early returns of the campervan do not qualify for a partial refund of unused rental days.

Package Modifications

If you wish to modify your travel package rather than cancel it entirely, please contact us as early as possible. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate changes to dates, destinations, or inclusions. Modifications are subject to availability and may incur additional charges depending on the nature of the change. If a requested modification results in a lower-priced package, the difference will not be refunded unless the modification is made 30 or more days before departure.

Force Majeure

In the event that a tour, rental, or package is cancelled or significantly altered due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather events, pandemics, government travel restrictions, airline cancellations, or civil unrest, we will offer you the choice of a full credit toward a future booking or a rescheduled departure date. Cash refunds under force majeure circumstances will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, taking into account costs already incurred by Travel Hub Australia and its partner service providers.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email us at info@racerbaul.com with the following information:

  • Your full name as it appears on the booking
  • Booking reference number
  • Date of the scheduled tour, rental, or package
  • Reason for cancellation

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all customers purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. Travel insurance can cover cancellation fees, medical emergencies, lost luggage, and other unforeseen events that may impact your trip. Travel Hub Australia is not a substitute for travel insurance and is not liable for costs that would otherwise be covered by an appropriate policy.
